WHO WE ARE

We are the womb carriers, sisters, mothers, and grandmothers who have been given a sacred responsibility to protect the water, land and all life for the generations to come. We are leading this water walk to uphold the Laws of Nature and call people into awareness regarding this grave threat to our communities.

 

Our symbol is the blue heron, a sacred water bird of these lands that reminds us of our right to self-determination and how to live in balance – guided by thoughtful, deliberate action. People of all faiths and traditions are invited to walk and join our collective prayer for the water and for all life.
